How to add a chauffeur booking widget to your website
September 10, 2026 · 8 min read
A chauffeur booking widget should live on your domain, speak in your brand, and quote the same numbers dispatch would give on the phone.
What a chauffeur booking widget is (and is not)
A chauffeur booking widget is a small, branded flow on your pages: chat or intake, vehicle, itemized quote, guest details, terms, confirmation. It is not a new website. It is not a “get a callback” form that still forces dispatch to price the trip by hand.
Guests who already chose your company do not want to re-enter the trip on a generic marketplace. Keep them on the page they trusted enough to open.
WordPress, HTML, and why the loader matters
The clean install is one script tag. On WordPress that same loader can ship as a tiny plugin so you are not pasting code into a random HTML block after every theme update. Orek’s WordPress zip is the same widget — there is no AI running inside PHP.
Hosted booking URLs are faster to share on Instagram. They are weaker on the homepage: the address bar leaves your brand, analytics split, and SEO value of “book” stays off your domain. If the goal is online booking on a limousine website, embed.
Quote first, then collect the guest
Order matters. Ask pickup, dropoff, date, time, passengers, and service type. Geocode real streets — not only airport codes. Return an itemized fare. Only then ask name, email, phone, and terms. People will not hand a mobile number to a form that still says “price on request.”
Round-trip needs a return date and time, not a checkbox that silently doubles the fare. Hourly needs hours and a pickup, not a fake dropoff. Airport trips need enough routing notes for the chauffeur (terminal, airline, flight) without turning the widget into a TSA form.
Install checklist
Allow your live domain in the widget settings. Paste the script (or install the plugin) in the footer so it loads on service pages, not only Home. Match logo, color, and heading font so the chat does not look rented. Send yourself a test booking and open the confirmation sheet.
When that test looks like a reservation your chauffeur could run, you are live. Start an Orek workspace and drop the widget on a staging page this afternoon.
Questions operators ask
- Will a chauffeur booking widget slow my site down?
- A script that loads asynchronously and idle-until-open should not block first paint. Avoid heavy iframes that reserve 600px of blank page.
- Can I put the widget on more than one page?
- Yes. Airport, wedding, and hourly pages should all open the same widget with the same rates. That is how guests actually browse.
- Do I need a developer?
- For HTML, no — one script tag. For WordPress, a plugin zip is enough. Custom landing pages may want a designer to place the button; they do not need to rewrite pricing.
