Round-trip airport transfer booking on your website

June 26, 2026 · 8 min read

Outbound Saturday, return Sunday is the job. Software that only stores one datetime will send a chauffeur once.

Round-trip airport transfer booking is two clocks

A checkbox labeled Round trip that doubles the fare without a return time is how you get a stranded family. The widget must collect return date and time, store them on the booking, and print them on the confirmation next to pickup.

Orek does that. Dispatch sees the return. The guest sees the return. The email sees the return.

Pricing should be explicit

Some operators double the outbound. Some quote two flats. Some discount the return. Whatever you do, the line items should not look like a bug. If you double, say so on the quote card.

Flight notes on both legs

Outbound might be a house pickup with a gate code. Return might be Terminal A, American, flight 5631, 13:20. Notes exist so you do not store that in a text thread named “mom’s airport.”

Put round-trip on the airport page

Do not hide it in a chat easter egg. The airport landing page should offer round-trip as a trip type, then reveal return pickers.

Sign up and book a fake Saturday/Sunday PHL. If both times print, you can sell round-trip without a second phone call.

Questions operators ask

Should round-trip be two bookings?
One reservation with two datetimes is easier for the guest. Split internally later if your garage needs two run sheets.
What if the return flight changes?
They call dispatch — same as today. The original confirmation still beats having no return time at all.
Can hourly be round-trip?
Usually no. Hourly is as-directed. Round-trip is two transfers. Keep the trip types separate.
